Ever dreamed of owning your own ant farm? Great opportunity here! I just bought all these items, tried for about 2 weeks to get some ants going but then realized it takes more time than I now have.
I paid around $120 for all the included items. Will sell for $45, firm, cash, no refunds. A great deal at this price!
All items are new and unused except for the smallest Formicarium (ant farm building, both smaller ones not shown yet) plus 1 test tube and a set of tweezers which were all used 2 weeks or less so they are almost new too.
Sale includes 3 Formicarium's. The largest one (shown) selling on Walmart for about $42 by itself. *It is not assembled and I'm told it has poor instructions with it. There are some videos out there to help with this. There are also 2 smaller Formicarium's suitable for housing up to 30 ants each, 10-12 glass test tubes, 3 or 4 water/food dispensers. Several fake green plants, small bag of fake moss, 2 small plastic tweezers, 1 large metal tweezers, 5 or 6 'Bug Catchers', 10 small metal food dishes. 4 larger ceramic food dishes, 1 new bottle 'Nectar For Ants' Ant Food (paid $18), 2 new heating pads, 1 opened bag Play Sand, 5"x4" plastic, vented, bug trapping box. PTFE+ liquid ant barrier (paid $20), larger suction cup wall feeder and water dispenser, about 3' clear plastic connecting tube (for connecting one building to another), 4 dz. Wooden Skewers, 1 bag Cotton Balls (opened), Green Cray Paper (To cover Formicarium with)...plus many smaller items from test tube holder to plastic test tube, can of moistened Meal Worms (not alive), etc.
As I have time, and if this hasn't sold, I will be adding more pictures.
Note! The pictures shown of the largest Formicarium are stock pictures to show what it looks like when assembled. IT IS NOT ASSEMBLED! And I have read that it is not easy to assemble. There are videos around the Internet showing assemblies but I cannot guarantee you will be able to assemble it or that all pieces are there since I have never put it together. But I assume its all there and with patience, and maybe a love of putting together puzzles, you should be able to put it together. A Lg Formicarium Ant Farm is used when a colony gets larger, around 50 - 200 ants. I do not know the size on this. I am guessing it is about 8"-10" square but the Walmart site says it's 21" tall. I rather doubt that but I'm not certain?
*I do have some of the assembly videos I found and if you bring a USB stick I will put those on there for you. Even if the Large Formicarium is for some reason unusable there are still 2 small Formicariums included and all items in total are worth more in value than the $45 dollar price.
